I have been writing this blog for almost a month. Boy, have I learned a lot. I can’t see who views it every day, but I do get a count of how many readers stop by. I don’t know what happened but yesterday my viewership nearly tripled from the day before. I’m baffled.
I wrote a melodramatic piece on Thursday, and then yesterday I fell on my sword and said, “Wow, that sucked. Let me try this again.” What can I say? I took a Mulligan.
I guess people like it when you screw up and admit it. People can relate to someone who makes mistakes and owns up to them; I know I can. To me, it’s easier to receive insight from someone who has made a mistake and has lived to tell about it.
So now knowing that my readership shot up yesterday, I don’t feel any pressure at all to write a stellar piece. Nope, not me, I’m just as cool as a cat. Egad!
Instead of succumbing to the pressure of topping myself, I would like to pose a question to you all. What struck you about yesterday’s post? What did you like about it? What made you want to tell your friends? Or did you tell your friends? Or was the whole thing just some WordPress glitch and a total fluke and there were really only five people who read it and they were all in my family. (Which would be fine, by the way.)
I know I say silly stuff sometimes, but I’m doing my best to listen to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to use me to minister and help people in some way. So whatever comes of this blog in the future, I want you to know I appreciate you guys. Thanks for reading, enjoy your day!
